Looking good.. feeling better!

OK, so I did my 30 mins of exercise no sweat last night, got to bed early, too (11 pm for me is early). I’m feeling much better today than I did yesterday morning. Whew! I haven’t been paying much attention to my weight numbers until today: 176.6! I’m down to the weight I was in my freshman year of college! Another 4 lbs or so, and I’ll be down to my high school weight.

I’m pumped. But – I guarantee I’m going to have a hard time staying on diet when I go on my date in Vegas on Saturday. I really hope I don’t gain anything, but I can virtually guarantee that I won’t lose that day, or possibly a few days afterwards.

I’m not too concerned, however. I still have about 2 weeks to go, and I’ll definitely be down to my lean weight by then! It feels great!

So… tired

I think I may have overdone it on the exercise last night, because this morning, I was so tired I could barely think. So I apologize in advance for the short post.

lunch 3-3Lunch was Mahi-mahi with cucumbers. I’m not a fan of cucumbers.

For dinner, I’m having Bison with Asparagus. I am a fan of Asparagus.

I’m planning on exercising again tonight, 30 mins instead of 40. See you tomorrow!

So, it’s been a while since I last posted. Sorry about that, I caught a bug over the weekend.

That said, here’s the menu for the days I missed:

Friday Lunch: Red Snapper with Spinach

Saturday Lunch: Marianne’s HCG Pizza

Dinner: Chicken with Spinach

Sunday Lunch: Tilapia with Celery — Yuck

Sunday Dinner: Chicken with Spinach

Today Lunch: Seafood Gumbo

Today Dinner: Bison with Asparagus — Yay!

Yeah, I changed it up. I have to say that I’ve taken a decided liking to Bison. Much better than Beef.

I’m Baaack!

Good morning readers! And a fine morning it is! I’m back for another 23-day run on the diet.

Fat days — Done already.

Current Weight: 186.4

I actually gained a bit during the South Beach phase of the diet, but that was because of my inability to stay away from carbohydrates. Tasty, tasty Carbohydrates. I kinda figured it would be hard to do. Bread is a weakness of mine.

So: fat days in a nutshell — Day 1: Mickey D’s breakfast, quesadilla lunch, In-N-Out dinner: No gain of any weight. Day 2: Same breakfast and lunch, Olive Garden for dinner. I have to say that their 4 cheese mezzaluna with sausage: Fat city. I gained a total of about 1.5 lbs, and I’m pretty sure that was just from dinner.

I can’t stand high-fat now. It just doesn’t taste good to me. It was very difficult to get through the fat days, even harder than last time.

I think that the diet will be going more smoothly than it did last time, I know the drill. I’m going to try to mix up my dinners a little bit. I was kind of a one trick pony with my Citrus Chicken and Spinach last time. It actually got old after a while, even though it was tasty.

Day 24

I was down about a pound this morning when I weighed myself. It felt weird to not have to get up early this morning for my shot. I really hope to get below 180 before the end of the diet, only about a pound to go.

I’m feeling a little bit tired because of the lack of the hCG shot today, but that’s to be expected. I’m thinking these 3 days may be harder than the 2 fat days a the beginning of the diet. As the hCG goes out of my system, I’m thinking I may feel pretty hungry on 500 calories a day.

Well, I’m powering through anyway. No cheating, eating exactly what I need to.

I’m going shopping after work today to grab some meat and more veggies. I think I’ll pick up some beef instead of chicken this time.
