Three More Days

I have a grand total of three more days of 500 calories, while the hcg processes out of my system, then I start the low carb/ low fat maintenance diet. Feeling a bit lower on my energy today, not having the shot makes a difference. Luckily, I have coffee!

I’m planning on continuing my blogging during the 3 weeks of maintenance, and I’ll be attending some of the classes, and reporting on them, too. I’ll be attending Marium’s body types class on Monday, and I’ll be sure to take some photos, and maybe some video, too!

That was fast!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! I’m still losing, albeit slowly. Feeling good. No hunger issues, few cravings, good energy. What I can’t get over, though, is how fast these 23 days have gone by. Tomorrow is day 23.

I haven’t lost as much as I know I should have this go-around. Totally my fault, what with cheating on the diet in Vegas. I also have had a hard time drinking as much water as I should have. But — pounds lost are still pounds lost.

Vegas Can Really Hang You Up the Most

As of yesterday, I was finally back down to my pre-Vegas weight. Note to those who are planning on coming here to do this diet: Don’t go to Vegas for any reason whatsoever.

So, I’m pretty sure I’m not going to hit my target of 170 by the end of the diet, but this run has really reinforced my commitment to healthy eating. Nothing fatty or high-carb even sounds appealing in the least bit to me.

On a different note, I haven’t exercised for about 2 days. I’m starting to run really low on energy in the evenings (daylight savings time sucks). I’m feeling better so far today, and I’m going to make a point of doing my workout tonight.

Server Problems

Those of you that frequently check the blog may have noticed some periods when it was inaccessible lately. We had a little hardware glitch on the server that was causing frequent crashes. It seemed like every time I tried to post a blog, the server had crashed, and I had to fix it instead!

Anyway – ALL FIXED!

Weekend in Vegas

As expected, my trip to Vegas was fun, but not good for the diet.

I had a Seared Ahi salad, which had a sweet dressing on it, and a 12 oz. beer. Tasty, but diet-ruining. I gained a grand total of about 2 lbs.

At least now I’m back on the wagon! Today’s lunch was grilled chicken with diced tomatoes. Very tasty. I do believe that the food here at the spa has gotten much better over the last couple of weeks. I can safely say that the HCG meals are very close to par with the standard spa cuisine.

I think some others could back me up on this?
