I have loved this diet. This is the only diet that I have had true success with. Not only was it a fast diet, I lost the fatty areas that I have never really lost on previous diets. I lost my hips, back fat, arm waddle. I lost a total of 19 pounds and went from a size 16 to between size 10 – 12. I was happy about the weight loss, but I am more thrilled at the reshaping of my body. I had no side effects and actually felt more energized and healthier than prior to the diet. It got rid of my addiction to soda pop and I have no problem staying away from the fatty foods, especially chocolate. I have recommended this diet to my in-laws, who also lost 20 & 25 lbs. I would recommend this diet to everyone because it works. 23 days goes by quickly and you are so encouraged by your daily weight loss that you can’t wait to weigh-in each morning.

This diet was absolutely amazing!!! I never thought that losing weight would be so easy. I lost 16 pounds and I didn’t feel hungry or deprived and I could actually see the difference within the first week. I slept better also. The problem with other diets that I had been on was that the results were slow to appear and as soon as I was finished with my diet I would put the weight right back on. I think that the best thing about being on this program is that it taught me to eat better and appreciate food that wasn’t processed or loaded with fat and preservatives. I eat better now. My mother saw my results and joined in on the diet with me. I have been off the diet now for 1 month and I am still at the weight I was when I finished the diet.

I was skeptical when I first heard about this diet plan, but once I attended the presentation and heard the results, I became very interested. At 54 years of age, I’ve had difficulty losing weight during the past 15 years. I lost an unbelievable 17 lbs in 23 days! I followed up with the recommended \South Beach Diet\. After 9 weeks, I’ve lost a total of 24 lbs! I am starting another 23-day course of HCG next month to get me much closer to my 44 lb weight loss goal. I’ve never lost so much weight with any other plan, which keeps me highly motivated. And, no negative side effects! After years of high cholesterol, I’ve dropped into normal range! The cravings for sweets are gone and I am able to control my appetite. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see quick results and a healthier life. It really works and people will notice the difference!

I am on my 3rd day following my last injection. I have lost at total of 20 lbs. I am very happy with the results! The support from the Green Valley Staff has been fantastic. I have been surprised, though I was told this would happen on this program, that my cravings have subsided and actually look forward to eating more healthy! This is the best diet I have been on!!

I am on my 8th day of the diet and I have already lost 10lbs. I am 57 years old and have had a weight problem for the last 15 years. I had read an article in a St George magazine about the weight loss program at the GV Spa and about the doctor there. I thought it was just another diet con, so I put it out of my mind. Then my husband heard an advertisement on the radio and wrote down the number for me. I have chronic pain for the last 4 years and wasn’t able to do alot of things, now my energy level is up and I want to do more things every day. I had leg cramps at first but started taking potassium at night and it went away! I started taking long walks again and mild exercising again and I can see the results!!! I got a craving for sweets one day and added another drop of Stevia to my tea one time and it stopped my craving, now I don’t even use it in my tea!! This is amazing and I would recommend this program to every one who has tried in the past to loose weight and hasn’t been able to get the results and keep them. I am looking forward every day to seeing what’s happening with my weight and body shaping, I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE FINIAL RESULTS! To every one who is just getting started KNOW THAT YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

I am now on the maintenance, 3rd week, have kept my weight within two pounds, it goe up one day, down the next. am slowing adding calories, my energy level is great, I am feeling fantastic. Am very impressed with the program.

I have noticed a couple of things that differ from Kevin’s book. One that stands out is that you have broccoli on your list of allowed vegetables . I would love that as I love broccoli . Is this a new addition or have I misread his book?

I have been though my maintenance program and very much past that, no need to say that I put off writing about the end results and my whole experience afterwards. But I have found myself to be a bit more active and just don’t take time to write. While on my maintenance program I lost 3 more pounds and it was great……Then Thanksgiving which I gained 5 pounds. I was able to get all the weight back off and then the Big One CHRISTMAS !!! I am proud to report that I gained again 5 pounds and so far have lost 2 pounds then gained and lost for the last week. I believe that I am back on track now, walking again and mild exercising to start, the cold weather has made my Fibromyalgia act up so baby steps as they say to start. I have been so impressed with the weight loss that I am going for another 23 day program starting in the next few days. I would just love to thank all the staff and the others that I met during this experience for all their support and friendship….this is an unbelievable ride to get this far (which is half way to my goal). Can’t wait to start another new me for the New Year…YOU CAN DO IT TOO !!!!! JOIN THE FUN….HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!

okay so i work at green valley and have been watching people around me shrink so i decided to try it. it is a restrictive diet and i am not an extreme person so it was hard for to committ, but here i am committed, and hungry. but that’s to be expected. and it is manageable hunger. the two fat days were difficult, i nearly puked. the first day on 500 calories i felt spacy, tired and yes…hugry. but today i feel better. more upbeat and energetic, but i’m not going to lie to you, i’m still hungry and i miss breakfast alot. i intend to lose ten lbs. i gained 2 on the fat days so i’m only down 1 lb. but i’ll tkae it !

I did this diet in mid Feb. I lost 18 pounds and have kept it off which is great. What has amazed me the most is not only the quick and relatively easy weight loss, but how it has actually re-arranged my taste buds! I STILL look forward to a morning apple sprinkled with cinnamon. I eat ALL day long, but its all good stuff in small quantities. I do not clean my plate when out to eat, but bring half home for lunch the next day. I have no desire for sweets and grease makes me react as if it were liver..yuck! I have not gained any weight although I do fluctuate, its never more than 2 pounds. Simply a brilliant diet!

Hi all – I was able to visit the spa back at the end of February – any of those folks on this forum? I did well losing 18 pounds on the 3 week program. I really fell off the third week due to stress from starting a new job! Plus, I did not properly refrigerate my hcg – my bad – and I really don’t think it worked the last week.
Anyway I’m back on and started at 186.8 (argh), I did 3 binge days because I think I did a poor job of binging last time, but I am losing well. I am on my 4th VLCD and have already dropped 4lbs.
I have a few questions – does anyone else have a lightheadedness from this diet? I swear I got winded just walking in from the parking garage this morning! I had this feeling at the spa but it was easy to just relax and get lots of rest there. But my job is really stressful and I am a single mom so I am always on the go!!
The doctor at the spa suggested that I spread my food out, so I am but I still feel so very week – any thoughts?

I have found what I have been looking for years with the HCG diet. It has been a god send for me. I have struggled with my weight most of my life especially after two pregnancies and probably will continute to, but the HCG diet has been an answer to my prayers.
I came to the Green Valley Spa in March of 09 for a week and continued on the HCG at home for a total of 39 days, following the program I started at the spa. I started at 190 lbs, gained 5 lbs on the first two days of extra eating and lost a total of 27 lbs plus the 5 lbs altogether. I found that the 500 cal a day diet is nowhere near as hard as any other times I have restricted my intake of food on the many other diets I have tried over the years. I did need to let others take over preparing food for the my family because that was too large of a temptation for me but my family was glad to do this seeing how successful I was on the diet. I bought some of the meals from the spa to have in my freezer to use and that really helped me too. The convinence of being able to grab a measured tasty meal made the chance of going off the diet much less. Also while I was on the HCG, I found that I was not tired or irritable like I always am on other diets. This was a wonderful surprise and made being on the diet that much more motivating. When I worked out, which I am not inclined to do as much as I should, recovery from the exercise was way easier and shorter.
I have looked online to find any complications from HCG and found none listed.
I would suggest to anyone that can, go to the spa and spend the first week to get the support and encouragement and start off the diet on the right foot. The spa staff and others that are also starting diet added a huge dimension of support and comradery.

I wanted to add to my comments above that this is the first diet I have ever been on that my set point changed so that my body wasn’t immediatly trying to get me back to the before diet weight. I did the South Beach after and felt really good. I wasn’t hungary and could eat normally. I then went on a vacation that I wasn’t particually careful about what I ate and only gained 3 lbs during the 3 1/2 weeks I was gone. I was expecting a whole lot more and wasn’t too worried about it because it was a once in a lifetime trip and was happily surprised.
I am planning on doing a second set of HCG and hope it works as well as the first time.
I’ll keep you posted.

I am amazed at the results I received by doing this weightloss program. My starting weight was 135lbs. ending weight after the 26 day program 117lbs. I loved this program because I never felt like I was ON A DIET. Some of the great things I noticed while doing the diet was my energy level became much higher and I did not feel like I was dragging at the end of each day. My cravings for chocolate and sugar have diminished. I suffer from chronic pain and inmflamation and while on the program the shots helped lessen the pain tremendously, and I could move my joints so much better. The most exciting thing for me was I HAVE “NO SADDLEBAGS” on my hips anymore, and the amount of inches lost all around was incredible compared to when I began the program. My husband kept telling me the weight I wanted to loose was vanity weight. It may have been, but I DID IT!!
